Artificially, a rainbow can be produced by passing white light (sunlight) through a prism. The light passing through the prism constitutes the seven colors of the rainbow.
No, it does not. It can happen almost anywhere. This is why after it rains, the water 'disappears' after awhile. Hope this helps!
this is called refraction. light is made up of seven different colours as seen in a rainbow. a glass prism breaks the light up into its base colours. this is the same principle a rainbow is made by only rainbow uses watere droplets to refract the light.
When the sun is out and it is raining a rainbow occurs.
after it rains
Because the sunlight which is white gets disperced (split) into the colours of the rainbow hence the name rainbow.
I'm guessing it has something to do with how a rainbow starts after it rains.
After it rains outside and it is sunny, you may be able to find a rainbow.
