No. The farthest that any human has been from earth is lunar orbit. When Mars
is as close to earth as it can get, it's about 200 times farther than that.
There is presently no project in progress, no planning, no budget, and no schedule
for a manned mission to Mars.

∙ 8y agoOn the moon, assuming the moon was closer to Mars than earth at the time they landed on it. If not, then the astronauts on the International Space Station are a few miles closer to Mars than us on earth, making them the nearest to Mars.
