Its usually when your in your last year of high school so your normally around 17 - 18, unless you are asked to go with someone who is older then you can go to any prom at any age as long as your a guest with someone in that year. :-)

∙ 14y agoProms are generally open to juniors, seniors or both, although freshmen and sophomores can attend if escorted by a junior or senior. Guests who do not attend the school are usually allowed as well, but a permission form is often required. Middle school students and those over a certain age usually cannot attend as someone's guest.
