it depends if the dog came on your property and attacked you you have the right to use self defense but if its a playful bite then dont but if you do hit it it might make it even more agitated so i reccomend not hitting it.

∙ 10y agoYou can not hit a dog! No matter what size it is DO NOT hit a dog! If the dog bit you it is not the dogs fault. Its yours. A dog is not as smart as a human. And they need a way to defend themselves. If you want a dog to learn not to bite andthey still do DO NOT hit them just give them a tap on the nose so that they know its wrong. Trust me with this info I am the number 1 animal person in the universe.
