The force that causes turgor pressure is osmosis.
A plant with high turgor pressure is healthy and rigid. When turgor pressure is high, it pushes the plasma membrane into the cell wall. This causes the plant to be turgid.
A plant cell will wilt due to lack of turgor pressure in it.
you can soak it in a high concentration of salt water which causes it to lose its turgor pressure ,therefore it shrinks in size by diffusional water from inside the potato moves to the salt solution)
When the turgor pressure is low in a plant it will start to slouch and wilt.
hydrostatic pressure or turgor (same thing)
(i)concentration of auxins (ii)turgor pressure
Turgor Pressure
A plant with high turgor pressure is healthy and rigid. When turgor pressure is high, it pushes the plasma membrane into the cell wall. This causes the plant to be turgid.
entry of water that causes turgor pressure in vacuoles of plants
Turgor pressure is the pressure exerted by water on the cell wall. This is what helps plants stand upright, even though they have no skeleton.
A plant wilts when it has a decreased turgor pressure.
