Some major European cities that were largely undamaged during World War II include Stockholm, Sweden; Zurich, Switzerland; Helsinki, Finland; and Oslo, Norway. These cities did not see significant military action or aerial bombardment during the war, which allowed them to remain relatively unscathed.
Paris received very little damage even at the end of the war when the Parisians repelled the German Nazis. Cities in Sweden were not damaged nor were the cities in Spain, Switzerland, Portugal and Ireland. Athens received some damage but thankfully the Greek ancient buildings remained in pretty much the same state they were in prior to the war.
I believe the Vatican City did not get damaged either.
There were railroads connecting major European cities when World War II began. There were also telegraph wires in Europe at that time.
Yes World War 1 is a European War.
Paris wasn't bombed but apart from that I don't think that there were any European cities that weren't bombed during World War II. Some were completely obliterated.

The population of cities and suburbs increased after WW2.
ummm i think its in the other world :)
No; most large European cities have at least one.
Practically all the cities in Germany, Great Britain, France and the other West European countries occupied by Germany.
Many cities in Germany, Britain and the USSR suffered aerial bombardment, some of the worst examples are Coventry which had to be almost completely rebuilt as well as Dresden in Germany and London. Many other European cities suffered from street fighting and artillery attack.
Yes, it is, but its richness only comes from the international organizations that are based there, like CE (European Comunities)...
Strategic bombing campaign of cities and factories.
